On entering primary education at St Martins, students and families begin an educational partnership in a warm, supportive and vibrant school community. A solid developmental curriculum embedded in the South Australian Curriculum Standards and Accountability Framework provides students with a rich learning experience that caters for a wide range of learners.
Whole school events and themes, national competitions, extra curricula activities in sport, music, camps, local outings, science, technology and community service give students opportunities to blossom and grow beyond the classroom.
Student leadership opportunities abound through the devotional and worship program, sporting teams, house teams, buddy programs, Student Representative Council and Primary Captaincy.
A strong Christian ethos infuses methodologies in both behaviour management and classroom management. Friendly, caring and professional staff model positive, kind and forgiving interpersonal relationships as they too work together as a well bonded and supportive team.
From Reception right through to Year 5, students and families are invited to come and see the difference.
